The United States has suspended its duty-free “de minimis” threshold of US$800 for all countries, including Canada. While we have been trying to navigate the tariff changes and added duties, these recent changes have made it too difficult to logistically continue shipping to The United States.
BeauChapeau Hat Shop ships all orders Expedited via Canada Post to provide the most time efficient and cost-effective services available. We package all items in a size appropriate container with maximum care and attention to detail, ensuring your hat arrives in supreme condition. Due to their shape and size, we cannot ship our BeauChapeau hat boxes. All orders are insured by Canada Post and will be replaced at no charge if damaged in transit. Hats can also be stored in these same packages to maintain their shape.

South of North Bay = 2 to 3 business days

- International = BeauChapeau will no longer be offering international shipping. Unfortunately, based on the price and lengthy delivery times, this is a service that cannot be offered at the level of service standards that we hold ourselves to.
If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return your purchase with receipt, for an exchange or store credit (gift card) within 30 days or a refund within 7 days of delivery.
The best way to exchange your hat is in-store. Since our shop is located in beautiful Niagara-On-The-Lake, ON it is the perfect place for day trip! Catch a performance at the Shaw, grab a bite to eat, and try on all the hats you want to find your perfect replacement. Trust us, it will be worth the drive.

- For United States orders, please call or email to obtain a return address as well as a Return Authorization #. Any item without a R.A.# will be refused.
- All returned products must be in new and unused condition with tags attached.
- All returns will be credited back to the original tender type (this includes gift cards).
- All sale items are Final Sale and may not be returned.
Please allow a minimum of 14 days for returns to be processed.
If you choose to track your return, please note that you will be notified that the item is available for pick-up in Niagara-On-The-Lake. Canada Post does not deliver to our shop directly and returns are collected once a week. No further action is required on your behalf.

- Free shipping is available on completed purchases totaling $150 or more before taxes. If an order, or any portion of it, is returned and the adjusted total falls below $150, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Arrival times are based on when the order is processed, not when the order is placed.
- These are estimates only. Tracking information, with expected delivery date, will be emailed when the order is fulfilled.
- Canada Post guarantees all arrival times within Canada. We cannot guarantee orders leaving Canada, as parcels may be subject to customs inspection.
- If an order cannot be delivered due to incorrect address, vacant address, or is not retrieved from closest postal outlet (if applicable), BeauChapeau is not responsible for any paid shipping costs. If order re-send is requested, additional shipping charges will apply.

I got it for a gift and came fast and as expected,!
Nice beret and looks great either pulled back or to the side. The "one size" is a bit loose (and I usually take a large for hats) so will look at how it can be tightened up without ruining the fabric.

I had lost my last Parkhurst beret & bought a replacement the next day at a local Toronto dep't store. It was NOT a Parkhurst. It felt rough & cheap. So I was thrilled 2 find that BeauChapeau actually sold Parkhurst berets & ordered 2 of them. They were delivered 2 me the next day! I was very pleased to feel how smooth the 100% wool felt next 2 my skin. Parkhurst berets are also made in Canada 🇨🇦 which is very meaningful to me. BeauChapeaus indeed! A lovely coloured beret
The fit is a little tighter than I expected, and the shade of white/ivory is a tad darker than what I was looking for; but otherwise it meets my practical needs.

The Parkhurst beret is big enough to be comfy and get at least one of your ears under it if it's a cold day. Or not. It's up to you. The material is excellent. I have several of these in several colours.

I have worn tams or beret's since 1986 and I purchased my first 2 from The Hudson's Bay, a black one and a red one. Parkhurst berets never fail to be perfect. They are the coziest hats possible. The colour I chose is gorgeous; a deep rose. (My husband will be able to find me in a crowd!)

The parkhurst beret is AMAZING!!!! I own several colors..... the wool they use is not itchy.... it’s fine and AMAZING!!!! I purchased my first beret at Beauchapeau nearly 6 years ago and have purchased many since !!!!! They always have new colors!!!!! The emerald was a fan favorite as I wore it at Christmas instead of the usual red.... I ordered Birch this time and am looking forward to wearing it with items I already own..... I messaged Beauchapeau for the description of the color and they were spot on... so I ordered and it perfectly matches my other things.... as many times I dress in all one color as it gives a very chic appearance!!!!!
