Felt Hat Day

September 15th, following the 2 day “Straw Hat Riots” in 1922 in New York, marks the day that we officially put away our straws and swap them for our felt hats.

Although today, it is unlikely to cause such an uproar by wearing a straw hat, a true hat connoisseur will always stick to the ‘no straw after Felt Hat Day’ rule.
